There’s not many things that actually need to go into your red bin.
In fact, most of the things in there right now probably shouldn’t be there.
Did you know that the following items can be dropped off FREE of charge at our recycling station?
Polystyrene, any electronic appliance, paper and cardboard, scrap metal, commingled recycling, batteries, light globes, mobile phones, printer cartridges, x-ray films, engine oil, old tins of paint and cooking oil
Did you know that the following items can be dropped off FREE of charge at your local supermarket to be recycled?
Plastic bags, bread cereal and frozen food bags, any other “scrunchable” plastic packaging (otherwise known as soft plastics)
We’re also looking in to partnering with a company to pick up and recycle used nappies.
